Full flat clearance is something we regularly undertake for our customers, freeing up space and making a property more saleable. We have been providing flat clearance services in and around Bromley since 1972, so we know how to look after your belongings. Whether you are a homeowner, landlord, solicitor or estate agent, you can rest assured that we often work with people like you and they are pleased with our service.
We understand the value of your contents and work with many local charity shops to put everything we can to good use. If you prefer, you can specify a charity shop of choice.
Our team work with people in many different situations or circumstances. Some people are going through probate, others are trying to achieve a quick sale, and some are downsizing or moving away. We can play an important part and help streamline the process for you as much as possible, achieving a quicker sale and upping the value as much as possible.
You never know what we might find amongst the contents of your flat. Kevin Corneille, who owns Adelphi House Clearance, has vast knowledge of antiques and uses this to make sure you receive a fair price for your contents. He knows exactly what antiques are worth, so if we come across anything of value, we will compensate you fairly for it by adjusting the price of our clearance services. Sometimes, a customer’s contents are so valuable, we have handed money over to them, rather than them paying us! Other clearance companies simply don’t have the knowledge we do about the value of contents – they will often just offer a fixed clearance fee.
When you contact us about clearing your flat, this is what will happen:
We arrange a visit, where we will be able to give an accurate quote. We never quote without seeing a property first – you deserve a fair price.
You will receive your quote immediately, in writing if required.
We will arrange a time to carry out your clearance. If you prefer, you don’t need to be present and can leave it to us. We can pick up keys from neighbours, estate agents or solicitors.
Your flat is left clean and tidy. We clean down surfaces and hoover floors – it’s as if we were never there.
We totally clear properties – these are some examples of items we regularly remove:
You don’t need to do a thing – our expert team remove ALL contents directly from the property.
We specialise in full house clearances, taking everything away for you. We can leave fixtures and fittings, carpets and curtains in place, or we can take these as well if required. The choice is entirely yours. Important items such as paperwork and jewellery will be handed over to you when we have finished.
Our knowledge sets us apart from other clearance companies. Here are some reasons why customers can rely on us:
We take the time to asses the value of your flat contents.
We have the highest possible rating from our customers and have been fully vetted.
They are only given once we have seen the flat for ourselves.
We offer 3 easy methods of payment:
• Bank transfer
• Cheque
• Cash
Clearances will be booked in soon after your quote.
We take good care of your flat during the clearance.
We always reuse and recycle.
Probate is never an easy process. It’s a difficult time for families anyway, without the worry of complex paperwork and valuations.
We work with families, solicitors and estate agents to evaluate the contents of a property, also known as chattels, before it is sold. Our reports are sent out within 5 working days.
We offer probate valuations for a fixed fee of £165 – many companies take a percentage, which can dramatically inflate the cost. Once items have been catalogued and recorded, we can proceed with a probate house clearance where required.
